AQUA by El Gaucho showcases the dinner-as-theatre philosophy and signature hospitality of El Gaucho.


Our menu features fresh seafood selections and 28-day dry-aged Niman Ranch All-Natural Prime Certified Angus Beef® and custom-aged Certified Angus Beef® Tenderloin Filets as personally selected by John Tarpoff. Steaks and chops are prepared on our one-of-a-kind charcoal grill in our open exhibition style kitchen. Our commitment is to sourcing the finest ingredients – and we proudly source the best products in the world. Not all menu items are listed on our website—we also offer daily fresh sheets as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. AQUA by El Gaucho now includes 20% service charge on each guest check. El Gaucho retains the full service charge and distributes it to employees in the form of wages, commissions, benefits, or otherwise entirely at El Gaucho’s discretion, in accord with the agreements and understandings that it has in place with its employees.

Our wine list includes well-known labels as well as wines from smaller, family-owned vintners. We have an extensive selection of wines by the glass as well as an ever-changing wine list, so even the most dedicated aficionados can expect to find new and exciting wines each time they dine with us.

  • “One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and wrote a little note with my reservation about the special occasion. Every employee that was in our presence during the entire experience wished him a happy birthday, even wrote a personal card for him. The table was set up beautifully and the food and service was excellent. When they brought out dessert, the pianist subtly played happy birthday on the piano as the server walked it over to us. Even the valet left two nicely wrapped cookies for us in the car. An amazing experience, and I would greatly recommend.”

Private Dining

We coordinate so you can celebrate. Our Private Dining team will create an experience for your most important business and personal moments. Our beautiful and incomparable private rooms provide the perfect venue for your every occasion – from an intimate dinner to an important meeting, a family celebration or a large group gathering. Available for brunch, lunch and dinner service seven days a week, as well as buyouts of our entire restaurant.

  • The North Bay Room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. It accommodates 75 guests for seated dinners and 100 for receptions, with direct access to the beautiful outdoor patio.

  • The South Bay Room offers seating for 25 guests, direct patio access and views of the Olympic Mountains and Elliott Bay.

  • An AQUA Restaurant buy out can accommodate as many as 500 guests for a reception and 375 guests seated, not including the patio. AQUA welcomes full facility lunch programs, banquets, special events, weddings and receptions.

  • The AQUA Bar provides private and semi-private spaces. It accommodates 60 guests for seated events, 125 guests for receptions and up to 150 guests for a flow reception.
