El Gaucho’s Wicked Shrimp Recipe

Wicked Shrimp is one of our most popular menu items, and now you can make it at home! El Gaucho Portland’s Executive Chef Steve Cainshows you how in this video.

Ingredients:

  • 4 EA 16/20 Prawns
  • 1/4 lb. Butter
  • 1  tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1  tsp. L&P Sauce
  • 1/4 cup shrimp stock
  • 1/4 cup beer
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • grilled Tuscan bread slices

Method: 

  1. Melt 1/2 butter in skillet on med-high heat.
  2. Add garlic, L&P, 1 1/3 Tbls. seasoning mix and prawns and saute 2-3 min.
  3. Add beer, wine and stock, cook 2 min. and swirl in remaining butter
