  • Named Gayot’s Top Ten Seafood Restaurants in America in 2012, and awarded The Washington State Wine Commission’s 2015 Restaurant of the Year, AQUA by El Gaucho sparkles at the tip of Pier 70, offering Seattle’s best waterfront dining experience. Walls of glass showcase Seattle’s finest views of Elliott Bay. The expansive outdoor deck is especially attractive on summer evenings, and indoors, the spacious lounge and lighted serpentine bar is a showstopper in its own right. AQUA by El Gaucho showcases the dinner-as-theatre philosophy and signature hospitality of El Gaucho.


Our hours are 4-9pm Tuesday-Saturday. Our last seating will be at 8:30pm due to Washington state new Phase 2 guidelines that all alcohol must be consumed by 10pm. Only five guests from the same household are permitted at each table when dining indoors; outdoor dining is open for tables of up to five people from multiple households.

Our menu features fresh seafood selections and 28-day dry-aged Niman Ranch All-Natural Prime Certified Angus Beef® and custom-aged Certified Angus Beef® Tenderloin Filets as personally selected by John Tarpoff. Steaks and chops are prepared on our one-of-a-kind charcoal grill in our open exhibition style kitchen. Our commitment is to sourcing the finest ingredients – and we proudly source the best products in the world. Not all menu items are listed on our website—we also offer daily fresh sheets as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please feel free to contact us regarding special requests or food allergy concerns.

Our professional service team receives industry leading compensation including commissions on sales, health insurance, 401K, and extensive education and training for a successful career path. To make that possible, a 20% service charge is included on each check. AQUA by El Gaucho retains 100% of the service charge. For more information on our service charge, please read here.

We strive to provide our guests the highest level of service and quality when it comes to wine, our courteous and knowledgeable sommelier is always at the ready with a pairing suggestion. Our wine list includes well-known labels as well as wines from smaller, family-owned vintners. We have an extensive selection of wines by the glass as well as an ever-changing wine list, so even the most dedicated aficionados can expect to find new and exciting wines each time they dine with us.

For our guests wishing to enjoy that special bottle from their own cellar, you are welcome to do so. There is a corkage charge of $30 per 750 ML bottle with a limit of one bottle for every two people. For larger groups with multiple bottles, please inquire within the restaurant. Private Dining

We coordinate so you can celebrate. Our Private Dining team will create an experience for your most important business and personal moments. Our beautiful and incomparable private rooms provide the perfect venue for your every occasion – from an intimate dinner to an important meeting, a family celebration or a large group gathering. Available for brunch, lunch and dinner service seven days a week, as well as buyouts of our entire restaurant.

  • The North Bay Room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains. It accommodates 75 guests for seated dinners and 100 for receptions, with direct access to the beautiful outdoor patio.

  • The South Bay Room offers seating for 25 guests, direct patio access and views of the Olympic Mountains and Elliott Bay.

  • An AQUA Restaurant buy out can accommodate as many as 500 guests for a reception and 375 guests seated, not including the patio. AQUA welcomes full facility lunch programs, banquets, special events, weddings and receptions.

  • The AQUA Bar provides private and semi-private spaces. It accommodates 60 guests for seated events, 125 guests for receptions and up to 150 guests for a flow reception.
