  • Walls of windows let in the light by day and candles sparkle at night as we set the stage for the ultimate Eastside dining experience, including the attentive tableside service that is the El Gaucho hallmark. Our commitment is to sourcing the finest ingredients – and we proudly source the best products in the world. Join us for happy hour or dinner service, as well as holiday brunches and exceptional private dining.


Due to Washington state Phase 2 new guidelines, our last seating will be at 8:45pm Tues-Thurs and 9pm Fri-Sat. Only five guests from the same household are permitted at each table when dining indoors; outdoor dining is open for tables of up to five people from multiple households. All alcohol must be consumed by 10pm.

Our menu features fresh seafood selections and 28-day dry-aged Niman Ranch All-Natural Prime Certified Angus Beef® and custom-aged Certified Angus Beef® Tenderloin Filets as personally selected by John Tarpoff. Steaks and chops are prepared on our one-of-a-kind charcoal grill in our open exhibition style kitchen. Our commitment is to sourcing the finest ingredients – and we proudly source the best products in the world. Not all menu items are listed on our website—we also offer daily fresh sheets as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please feel free to contact us regarding special requests or food allergy concerns.

Our professional service team receives industry leading compensation including commissions on sales, health insurance, 401K, and extensive education and training for a successful career path. To make that possible, a 20% service charge is included on each check. El Gaucho retains 100% of the service charge. For more information on our service charge, please read here.

Celebration Packages: Enjoying a birthday or anniversary with us is a treasured tradition and until each of our guests feels comfortable joining us in our restaurants, we are providing special Celebration packages for elevated in-home dining for two. Both the Iconic Gaucho Menu and the Surf & Turf package are available for $160 with the option to add select bottles of wine. Revelers Club members are invited to redeem their annual birthday and anniversary rewards.

We strive to provide our guests the highest level of service and quality when it comes to wine, our courteous and knowledgeable sommelier is always at the ready with a pairing suggestion. Our wine list includes well-known labels as well as wines from smaller, family-owned vintners. We have an extensive selection of wines by the glass as well as an ever-changing wine list, so even the most dedicated aficionados can expect to find new and exciting wines each time they dine with us.

For our guests wishing to enjoy that special bottle from their own cellar, you are welcome to do so. There is a corkage charge of $30 per 750 ML bottle with a limit of one bottle for every two people. For larger groups with multiple bottles, please inquire within the restaurant.     We coordinate so you can celebrate. Our Private Dining team will create an experience for your most important business and personal moments. Our beautiful and incomparable private rooms provide the perfect venue for your every occasion – from an intimate dinner to an important meeting, a family celebration or a large group gathering. Available for lunch and dinner service Monday through Friday and dinner service on the weekends, as well as buyouts of our entire restaurant.

    • Overlooking the main dining room, Canoe Ridge allows guests to enjoy the restaurant’s energy and create their own in this unique semi-private space. Invite up to 24 guests for a seated meal or 40 guests for a reception and also enjoy the adjacent mezzanine bar for additional socializing.

    • Destiny Ridge—the name says it all as you close your deals or embark on a new future at this see-and-not-be-seen vista seating up to 12 guests.

    • Horse Heaven seats up to 10 guests, this working wine cellar evokes the spirit of Washington’s famed viticultural regions. Celebrate in this intimate setting with your favorite bottle and friends.

    • Enjoy the privacy of Pepper Bridge. This setting enhanced with floor-to-ceiling windows for natural lighting. Invite up to 40 guests seated at round tables or 18 guests at a boardroom-style table with equipment for a presentation. For larger crowds, Pepper Bridge will host a reception for up to 40 guests.

    • Named for Washington’s 5th AVA, Red Mountain brings the warmth of eastern Washington to Bellevue as natural lighting pours in over an expansive windowseat. Host a boardroom presentation for 40 or a casual dinner for 24. Round tables will seat up to 40 guests, or bring your swank and 50 friends for a lively reception.
