Our menu features fresh seafood selections and 28-day dry-aged Niman Ranch All-Natural Prime Certified Angus Beef® and custom-aged Certified Angus Beef® Tenderloin Filets as personally selected by John Tarpoff. Steaks and chops are prepared on our one-of-a-kind charcoal grill in our open exhibition style kitchen. Our commitment is to sourcing the finest ingredients – and we proudly source the best products in the world. Not all menu items are listed on our website—we also offer daily fresh sheets as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please feel free to contact us regarding special requests or food allergy concerns.

A 20% service charge is included on each check. El Gaucho retains 100% of the service charge. We strive to provide our guests the highest level of service and quality when it comes to wine, our courteous and knowledgeable sommelier is always at the ready with a pairing suggestion. Our wine list includes well-known labels as well as wines from smaller, family-owned vintners. We have an extensive selection of wines by the glass as well as an ever-changing wine list, so even the most dedicated aficionados can expect to find new and exciting wines each time they dine with us.

For our guests wishing to enjoy that special bottle from their own cellar, you are welcome to do so. There is a corkage charge of $30 per 750 ML bottle with a limit of one bottle for every two people. For larger groups with multiple bottles, please inquire within the restaurant. I have been living in Seattle for a year and half and have never received anything like the immaculate, perfect attention I received warm, unpretentious, yet attentive to every detail: napkin placed on my lap for me, flashlight provided for reading the menu, handshake and asked for my name by both Maitre D’s and the bartender even though I was only there for an appetizer (had 2 because the food was so delicious which I’ll come to later), great recommendations on food, well-deserved pride in service and the menu, excellent timing and anticipation of every need without being over-serving and a genuine feeling of being welcomed and not rushed. In addition the ambience is lovely. You can dress casual but make no mistake this is an authentic candle lit steakhouse with a delightful live piano player, table side service (including baked potato fluffed for you) and a beautifully decorated floor plan that dances with a warm, gentle, timeless energy.”

We coordinate so you can celebrate. Our Private Dining team will create an experience for your most important business and personal moments. Our beautiful and incomparable private rooms, including the legendary Pampas Room, provide the perfect venue for your every occasion – from an intimate dinner to an important meeting, a family celebration or a large group gathering. Available for lunch and dinner service Monday through Friday and dinner service on the weekends, as well as buyouts of our entire restaurant.

  • Victor Rosellini’s 410 Room is an impressive and intimate setting for private gatherings or entertaining your most important clients. Surrounded by a working wine cellar, the single round table seats from 6-10 guests.

  • The Bolas Room carries on the tradition of unpretentious romance, eclectic wall hangings and a perfectly trained staff. Bolas Room attendants are meticulously trained in tableside service. They are backed by the skills of veteran bartenders who can deliver the perfect hand-shaken martini, a fine cognac, or the fruits of a deep and inviting wine cellar. Dinner seating for as many as 26 guests.

  • Your own private club, the Grill Room seats as many as 40 guests for dinner and up to 50 for a reception. The Grill Room has a private bar and leather sofa seating area.

  • Truly retro-swank, the Pampas Room offers dinner seating for as many as 100 guests and up to 140 for receptions. The Pampas room is available 7 days a week for private events.

  • In the Wine Cellar a gorgeous mural of the Argentinean pampas sets the stage. The room allows boardroom style seating for business presentations, executive dinners or family events, accommodating as many as 20 guests.
