Drew Mayville, Master Blender and Director of Quality at Sazerac, brings more than 40 years of mastery in the world of fine spirits. He joined Sazerac at its legendary Buffalo Trace Distillery in 2004, following nearly 23 years at Seagram’s—where his expertise spanned distillation, quality, bottling, packaging, blending, and technical services, and where he earned the distinction of being the last Master Blender to serve under the Seagram dynasty. At Sazerac, he works hands-on with the award-winning whiskeys produced at Buffalo Trace and across the company’s celebrated portfolio, driven by a passion not only for crafting spirits of exceptional quality but for delighting and educating all who share in them. A native Canadian, Drew is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, has been a certified ASQ Quality Engineer since 1987, and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
