A Word from Chad ~ September 2016

Where’d summer go? It’s hard to believe it’s already September, but believe it or not, our boys are itching to go back to school (and so are we!). The seasonal transition this year for us means menu changes and updates, as well as focusing on celebrating 20 years of being part of our community.

As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, we are excited to bring back some classic items from our 1996 opening menu. Dishes such as Ostrich, Venison and Veal will be brought back for a limited time on all El Gaucho menus starting September 6th. We will also feature classic cocktails from the original El Gaucho including a Pisco Sour and Muddled Old Fashioned Rye, as well as guest favorites from each location.

We are also proud to offer a special El Gaucho 20th Anniversary Wine. A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Columbia Valley, this wine is produced by a top Washington winery. We were really picky when selecting our commemorative wine to offer our guests. It is absolutely fabulous and you’ll want to try it before it is gone – it’s available by the glass or the bottle.

Another exciting change is the patio at El Gaucho Seattle. Construction is well underway and doors will be open soon to take advantage of dining al fresco in what we hope will be a classic Northwest Indian Summer.

Our Iconic Experience contest continues through September 25th. This is your chance to share your favorite El Gaucho and AQUA memories with us! We’ve heard from guests who dined at the original Gaucho, and others including a 9-year-old birthday party to a celebration of life, college graduation dinner to retirement celebrations. We have a simple purpose that inspires us – we revel in celebrating lives. We are truly honored to be part of every guest’s special occasion.

Finally, I want to thank all of those who believed in my dad’s vision over 20 years ago to help bring the Gaucho back to life. Between our dear investors, contractors, and architect team, El Gaucho came back in a new form. Our goal is to continue to provide a place of celebration for the entire community, while offering our legendary, old-school tableside service for many generations to come.

Celebrate with us!
